Senior Engineering Manager - Machine Learning, Perception (f/m/d)

Permanent employee, Full-time · Ottobrunn

About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Lead Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team and bring real-world impact through state-of-the-art model deployment on the road, such as innovative multi-modal sensor fusion systems for autonomous driving and new platforms. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with the world’s most advanced autonomous driving system and make a profound impact across the entire perception stack through fundamental research and development. Bring your passion and experience for driving high-impact R&D projects, and we will put your ideas on the road!

Our Perception engineering group at Cruise develops deep learning based approaches for 3D object detection, tracking, semantic segmentation, classification and understanding all the objects around a vehicle. Enabling our vehicles to understand the world is critical to our mission and ability to deploy at scale. Our fleet of vehicles provides robust data sets that you can use to prototype radically new models and push novel solutions into production.

If you are looking to play a part in making a positive impact in the world by advancing the ground-breaking work of self-driving cars, let’s chat!
